State Election Commission to assess progress of 2026 revision exercise via video conference
Jammu, April 30 (H.S.): The State Election Commission of Jammu and Kashmir has scheduled a review meeting on May 4 to assess the procedures and progress of the Panchayat Electoral Roll Revision-2026.
According to an official notice, the meeting will be held at 3:00 PM via video conference from the Meeting Hall at Darul Intikhab, M.A. Road, Srinagar.
All Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) across districts have been directed to attend the meeting through virtual mode. The link for the video conference will be shared separately with the concerned अधिकारियों.
Focus on Timely Completion
The meeting has been convened on the directions of the State Election Commissioner to review the ongoing revision process and ensure its timely completion.
Officials are expected to discuss key aspects of the electoral roll update and address any issues related to implementation across districts.
