Tirupati, March 2025 – Mohan Babu University (MBU) successfully hosted its 33rd Annual Day celebrations, a grand event dedicated to recognizing academic excellence, cultural talent, and distinguished contributions to education. The occasion brought together students, faculty, and eminent personalities, reaffirming MBU’s commitment to fostering knowledge, innovation, and leadership.
The event was graced by Padma Shri Awardee Dr. Madugula Nagaphani Sarma, celebrated actor R. Sarath Kumar, and legendary filmmaker and choreographer Prabhu Deva, whose presence inspired students and added to the grandeur of the celebration.
The highlight of the evening was the presentation of gold medals to meritorious students across various disciplines, including the Smt. Nandamuri BasavaTarakam Memorial Gold Medal, the Sri Manchu Narayanaswamy Naidu Memorial Gold Medal, and several others recognizing outstanding academic achievements. Additionally, the Sri Manchu Narayanaswamy Naidu Best Teacher Award was conferred upon Smt. I. Krishnaveni for her exceptional contribution to education.
The event featured an array of cultural performances, including devotional, folk, and western dance sequences by MBU students, showcasing their artistic flair. A special felicitation ceremony was held to honour Mahabharat TV serial artists and VMAF artists, celebrating their contributions to the arts.
