Odisha BJP chief dismisses speculation, says decisions will be taken at appropriate time

Bhubaneswar, May 4 (H.S.): Odisha BJP president Manmohan Samal has dismissed reports of a possible cabinet expansion and reshuffle in the state, calling them “completely baseless and misleading.”

Addressing the speculation circulating in sections of the media, Samal clarified that there is no truth to the claims and urged against spreading unfounded information.

Clarification on Government and Party Matters

Samal stated that the BJP government in Odisha, led by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, is nearing the completion of two years in office and has already fulfilled a significant portion of its election promises.

He added that the party has recently announced its list of state office bearers, members of the state executive committee, and office bearers of various frontal organisations. Remaining positions, he said, will be filled in due course.

No Immediate Plans for Expansion

Refuting reports of a cabinet reshuffle, Samal emphasized that certain media outlets were circulating “fabricated” news without any factual basis.

He maintained that any major decision, including a cabinet expansion, would be taken at an appropriate time after due consideration.
