Chief Minister hails Tagore’s timeless contribution to Indian literature, art, and culture

Lucknow, 07 May (H.S.): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid tribute to Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore on his 165th birth anniversary, describing him as a visionary philosopher, eminent poet, and one of the greatest contributors to Indian culture and literature.

In a post shared on X, the Chief Minister praised Tagore’s enduring legacy and his role in shaping India’s cultural identity on the global stage.

“On the birth anniversary of Rashtragaan ‘Jana-Gana-Mana’ creator, timeless litterateur, epochal visionary philosopher, and Nobel laureate Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, humble salutations. Gurudev’s unparalleled creations and immortal thoughts, which bestowed a golden identity upon Indian literature, art, and culture on the global stage, will continue to guide humanity for eternity,” Yogi Adityanath wrote.

The Chief Minister has previously highlighted the importance of embracing Indian identity and values as reflected in the works and vision of great personalities like Rabindranath Tagore.
